Abstract
Malgré son importance et les nombreux services écologiques qu’elle rend, la faune des myriapodes est peu étudiée dans l’est du Canada, et plusieurs espèces demeurent inconnues. L’ auteur rapporte la première mention québécoise et canadienne du pauropode Eurypauropus spinosus Ryder, 1879, le premier représentant de la famille Eurypauropodidae au pays. S’il s’agit de la huitième espèce québécoise de pauropodes, plusieurs restent probablement à découvrir.
