Abstract
Considerando o dinamismo do mundo atual, que rompeu as fronteiras organizacionais, identifica-se como desafio das micro e pequenas empresas a sua manutenção no mercado. Uma das estratégias de atuação das micro e pequena empresas está na criação de elos de cooperação na sua cadeia produtiva. Frente as limitações intrínsecas das micro e pequenas empresas, a cooperação é facilitada pela proximidade geográfica que estabeleça os aglomerados produtivos. Diante disso, este trabalho, no formato de ensaio teórico, se ocupou em fazer uma análise comparativa das conceituações dos principais aglomerados existentes, sejam eles: o Cluster, o Distrito Industrial e o Arranjo Produtivo Local, para, após o comparativo, ofertar distinções e semelhanças. O ensaio realizado se propõe a contribuir para o estudo da temática de aglomerados produtivos.
