Abstract
Le mouvement des objecteurs de croissance ne s’est pas directement impliqué dans le débat sur les « commons », les biens communs, parce que la décroissance ne se propose rien moins que de « sortir de l’économie ». La sortie de l’économie, et donc de la marchandisation de la nature et du social, concerne néanmoins les biens communs (eau, air, terre, environnement, espaces urbains, espaces verts, paysages, éducation, culture, etc.), et va même au-delà. La logique systémique de croissance, qui est aussi celle de la guerre de tous contre tous et de la guerre de tous contre la nature, engendre le changement climatique, la fin de la biodiversité, pour aboutir à la sixième extinction des espèces. Une fois liquidé l’objectif de la croissance, le bien commun, et donc l’extension des communs, réapparaît comme l’horizon de toute organisation sociale.
