Abstract
The summer of 2000 brought trepidation. Upon completing my Fine Arts degree at the University of Regina, I was faced with the daunting question … now what? I wanted to be hired as an actor. Instead, I was selling leather pants to middle-aged women and settling into a terribly depressing routine. However, it wasn’t long after my convocation that I was introduced to an alternative type of theatre — theatre that uses a found space as the starting point for creation, what I now know as “site-specific” or “in situ” theatre.
