Abstract
Caravan Farm Theatre, a short drive outside Armstrong, BC, in the rolling hills of the Okanagan, has been producing and developing live outdoor theatre for over 25 years.1 In this near idyllic pastoral setting, the company takes full advantage of the natural surroundings, both in the themes and in the staging of their shows. The 2005 world premiere of Linz Kenyon’s the I. O. U. Land beautifully exemplified the weaving together of space and script, as director Estelle Shook and designer Catherine Hahn combined their creative talents to capture the poetic landscape and narrative.
