Abstract
This raucous evening has become an annual event in the High Performance Rodeo. Calgary’s Ground Zero Theatre has been organizing it for the last six years. The premise guarantees fun: eight local theatre companies are invited to participate. Each is given a prop and a quotation and twenty-four hours to devise a ten-minute play employing both. The artistic director of Ground Zero, Ryan Luhning, picks promising new companies every year to join the line-up.
