Se identifica la referencia geográfica al “Crédo” y, a la luz del catálogo delabiblioteca de Emilia Pardo Bazán, se sugiere la hipótesis de que determinadas guías de viaje desu biblioteca pudieron acompañara la autora en su viaje de España a Ginebra y servir de fuentede documentación para los Apuntes de un viaje.
