Abstract
Abstrak Latar Belakang : Di Indonesia laserasi perineum dialami oleh 75% ibu melahirkan pervaginam. Pada tahun 2013 menemukan bahwa dari total 1951 kelahiran spontan pervaginam, 57% ibu mendapat jahitan perineum (28% karena episiotomi dan 29% karena robekan spontan) (Depkes RI, 2013). Dampak terjadinya ruptur perineum antara lain infeksi pada luka jahitan, perdarahan dan nyeri perineum (Manuaba, 2010). Senam kegel merupakan senam untuk menguatkan otot panggul. Masa nifas membutuhkan mobilisasi atau latihan, tertentu yang dapat mempercepat proses involusi. untuk kembali kebentuk sebelum hamil maka akan menyebabkan sub involusi. Penyebab sub involusi uteri yang paling sering adalah tertahannya fragmen plasenta, infeksi, dan perdarahan lanjut (late postpartum haemorrhage). kehamilan, terutama pada otot-otot bagian punggung, dasar panggul, dan perut. TUJUAN pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberdayakan kader di wilayah kerja puskesmas wilayah kerja puskesmas lau Baleng Kab. Tanah Karo tersebut, yang berada diposyandu setiap Pustu dan sebagai wadah tempat melatih kader dalam pelaksanaan senam kegel Exercise pada ibu nifas hari pertama samapai ibu post partum hari ke 7 untuk mencehah pendarahan. METODE yang dilakukan dengan 4 tahap yaitu mengkaji keadaan pedesaan partisipatif, pengembangan kelompok, penyusunan rencana dan pelaksanaan kegiatan serta monitoring dan evaluasi partisipatif. Hasil : Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian menawarkan solusi berupa Pelatihan Edukasi Kesehatan ibu post partum atau ibu nifas, hingga terbentuk pola menjaga kesehatan reproduksi pada subjek sasaran. Target luaran kegiatan pengabdian berupa, produk jasa dan publikasi. Luaran jasa berupa paparan materi tahap demi tahap edukasi kesehatan mulai dari pengenalan organ reproduksi, bagaimana organ reproduksi bekerja dalam sistem reproduksi dan hormon yang mempengaruhinya, sampai pada cara menjaga kesehatan dan sistem reproduksi.
