Abstract
En este trabajo se estudia la radiación de Cherenkov para una fuente modulada en la superficie de cristales fotónicos periódicos y con defectos aleatorios. La radiación Cherenkov exhibe diferentes comportamientos en metamateriales como una variedad de efectos anómalos. Los cristales fotónicos en presencia de la radiación de Cherenkov presentan efectos anómalos que son de interés para su estudio. Existen diferentes enfoques para estudiar la radiación Cherenkov en cristales fotónicos. Nosotros propusimos un enfoque más simple y basado en el diseño geométrico del cristal fotónico y las características de la fuente, lo que permite obtener una radiación coherente en los rangos de frecuencia específicos.
