Abstract

O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar as percepções de professores da rede estadual de ensino do Rio Grande do Sul (RS), a fim de identificar se eles se percebem como protagonistas no processo de elaboração e de implementação da reforma educacional do novo ensino médio. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza básica, exploratório-descritiva quanto aos seus objetivos, qualitativa-quantitativa quanto à abordagem do problema e um estudo de caso quanto aos procedimentos. O estudo está ancorado teoricamente na perspectiva epistemológica pós-estruturalista da teoria da atuação de Ball, Maguire e Braun (2016), na perspectiva sócio-histórica do currículo de Goodson (2019) e na perspectiva crítica de Masschelein e Simons (2018) e Laval (2004). Os dados foram coletados em dez escolas pilotos do RS por meio da aplicação de questionários e realização de entrevistas com professores e gestores. O estudo apresentado é um recorte de uma pesquisa interinstitucional a respeito das políticas curriculares para o ensino médio. Os resultados mostram que a reforma do ensino médio foi concebida e é executada por meio de relações externas de mudança. Nesse contexto, os professores veem a si mesmos como espectadores, destinatários ou, ainda, entregadores de um pacote formativo, apesar de considerarem que devem ser ouvidos e envolvidos nos processos de reforma; portanto, as mudanças acontecem sem uma discussão acerca da carreira e condições de trabalho do professor.
