Cette contribution a pour objet de démontrer l’importance d’analyser le rôle d’Eurojust et du Parquet européen dans la facilitation et la coordination de l’exécution des mandats d’arrêt européens afin de comprendre le degré d’évolution de l’espace de justice et du droit. L’intérêt de placer ces acteurs au coeur de notre étude réside dans la possibilité d’interroger l’effectivité du mandat d’arrêt européen en analysant les acteurs qui y contribuent concrètement. Ainsi, après avoir retracé, dans ses différentes étapes, le processus décisionnel ayant abouti à la création d’Eurojust et le procureur européen, notre étude se focalise spécifiquement sur l’application du mandat d’arrêt européen par ces acteurs. Cette analyse nous offre la possibilité de démontrer leur participation limitée à l’effectivité de l’instrument normatif.
