Seit beinahe zehn Jahren besuchen die Primar- und Sekundarschüler/-innen von Québec den obligatorischen Unterricht «Éthique et culture religieuse». Da dieser Unterricht den konfessionellen Religions- und Moralunterricht ersetzt, ist die Implementierung des neuen Programms mit diversen Herausforderungen verbunden, wobei die Schulung des Lehrpersonals die grösste dieser Herausforderungen darstellt. Im Beitrag werden einige Etappen dieses Prozesses nachgezeichnet. Dabei wird Bezug genommen auf Untersuchungen, die in den vergangenen Jahren durchgeführt wurden: Welche Schlüsse können wir aus dem québec’schen Experiment ziehen? Welche Bedürfnisse haben die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer? Ist es möglich, ein Ausbildungsmodell zu entwickeln, das diesem Kontext angepasst ist und wirksam erscheint?
