In light of the significance of software to society and of software engineering to industry, this note approaches software engineering education from multiple perspectives of management. These perspectives are salient, but are not necessarily mutually exclusive, and occur commonly in teaching and learning. In doing so, it also considers a renewed understanding of these perspectives brought upon by a 'revitalization' of e-learning during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
