Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendesain pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran teaching factory bagi guru SMK yang mengajar di beberapa SMK Negeri Pusat Keunggulan wilayah Lampung Utara serta meninjau keefektifan desain pelatihan yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode dan pengembangan (R & D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE.metode triangulasi data, teori dan peneliti juga dipakai dalam penelitian ini Populasi adalah seluruh guru produktif yang mengajar di SMK Negeri 3 Kotabumi dan SMK Negeri 1 Abung Selatan dengan jumlah 60 guru dan sampel untuk uji coba produk hasil pengembangan berjumlah 40 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, survei, dan pretest - posttest. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif meliputi analisis kelayakan produk, analisis kemenarikan produk dan analisis tingkat kompetensi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak dan menarik serta dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru.
