Bandar Udara Budiarto merupakan bandar udara yang menjadi tempat para taruna melakukan pelatihan terbang menggunakan pesawat latih dan juga seringkali dijadikan alternate aerodrome bagi pesawat komersial maupun militer, untuk menunjang pergerakan pesawat tersebut, Bandar Udara Budiarto memiliki unit PKP-PK kategori VI berdasarkan Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP). Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kelengkapan dan kesesuaian fasilitas unit PKP-PK Bandar Udara Budiarto dengan KP 14 tahun 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dimana teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Unit PKP-PK Bandar Udara Budiarto masih belum sesuai dengan standard Unit PKP-PK kategori VI dimana jumlah personel setiap shift dan alat pelindung diri yang masih kurang, beberapa kendaraan utama dan pendukung yang belum dimiliki serta kondisi fasilitas yang ada juga kurang baik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu adanya rekrutmen, pengadaan dan peremajaan Fasilitas unit PKP-PK Bandar Udara Budiarto sehingga tetap dapat memberikan pelayan yang prima.
