El artículo se ocupa de la descripción e interpretación de los procesos de hibridación entre arte y diseño, y analiza los modos en que se producen las transferencias, deslizamientos y apropiaciones entre esos campos desde conceptos semióticos peirceanos. Con la observación de dos producciones de artistas latinoamericanos, se infieren modos particulares de hibridación centrados en aspectos formales, en técnicas vinculadas a los soportes o en procedimientos comunicacionales, que, a su vez, ejemplifican las variantes entre las condiciones productivas, los circuitos de legitimación, los contratos de lectura y los colectivos de interpretación propios de cada uno de los campos.p.
