O presente trabalho objetivou avaliar o efeito da aplicação de doses crescentes de biossólido (5, 10, 15, 20 e 40 t ha-1) em um povoamento de Eucalyptus grandis. O experimento foi instalado na Esta- ção Experimental de Itatinga-ESALQ/USP, Itatinga, SP. Seis meses pós- aplicação do biossólido, para todos os tratamentos foi observada ele- vação dos teores de K, Ca e S, e redução das concentrações de Al, Fe e Mn, dependendo da dose de biossólido aplicada. Treze meses pós-apli- cação do biossólido, foram constatadas elevações do pH e elevação dos teores de P, Ca, K e S na camada 0-5 cm do solo, abaixo desta só os teores de S elevaram-se. Aos vinte e quatro meses de idade do eucalipto, a dose de 10 t ha-1 de biossólido, com ou sem suplementação de K, resultou num crescimento semelhante ao obtido com a fertilização mineral.
