Abstract
Latar Belakang. Menopause adalah masa dimana periode haid pada wanita dan kemampuannya untuk melahirkan anak akan berhenti secara permanen. Wanita yang sudah mengalami menopause rawan mengalami stres dan depresi dengan kondisi yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial suami dengan kejadian stres pada istri menjelang masa menopause di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lepo-Lepo Kota Kendai. Metode. Penelitian cross sectional ini dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lepo-Lepo dengan sampel 65 wanita yang berusia >45 tahun dengan Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purpossive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil. Hasil uji statistik ditemukan pada variabel tingkat cemas menunjukan bahwa dari 65 responden yang menderita cemas lebih banyak yaitu 44 responden (67,7%) dan yang tidak menderita cemas sebanyak 21 responden (32,3%) dari hasil yang didapatkan tersebut terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan suami terhadap kejadian stres pada wanita menopause (p=0,008). Kesimpulan. Ada hubungan dukungan suami dengan tingkat kecemasan wanita menopause di wilayah kerja puskesmasl Lepo lepo Kota Kendari.
