Abstract
Abstract This activity is motivated by the condition of Garut Regency in 2021 where there is an increase in the number of underage marriages and the maternal and infant mortality rates occupying the highest positions in West Java Province. This is partly due to limited access to information about adolescent sexuality and reproductive health which is considered taboo and inappropriate to be discussed openly to adolescents. The purpose of this community empowerment activity is to increase awareness and understanding of adolescents about adolescent reproductive health, especially adolescents in rural areas. The method of carrying out activities is carried out using the lecture method offline and online, as well as discussion. The target of the activity is high school age youth in Pangauban Village, Cisurupan District, Garut Regency. The implementation process is carried out through the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the assessment stage as well as the evaluation stage. The results of this activity illustrate the existence of better knowledge and understanding in adolescents regarding reproductive health, including being willing to delay marriage until they are old enough, avoiding promiscuous sex and avoiding free sex behavior towards healthy, character, and prosperous adolescents. Keywords: Persuasive communication; health; youth; online; covid-19 pandemic  Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi masyarakat Kabupaten Garut. Pada tahun 2021 terdapat kondisi adanya peningkatan angka pernikahan anak di bawah umur serta angka kematian ibu dan bayi, di mana Kabupaten Garut merupakan wilayah yang menempati posisi tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hal ini salah satunya diakibatkan karena terbatasnya akses para remaja, terutama remaja di wilayah perdesaan mengenai informasi tentang kesehatan dan seksualitas remaja. Selain itu, terbatasnya akses teknologi informasi dan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi secara terbuka dengan pihak yang berkompeten mengenai kesehatan reproduksi remaja turut mendorong tingginya angka penikahan usia dini di Kabupaten Garut. Tujuan dari kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi remaja terutama remaja di perdesaan. Metode kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah serta diskusi yang dilakukan secara luring dan daring karena menyesuaikan dengan kondisi kegiatan yang dilakukan saat pandemi Covid19. Sasaran kegiatan adalah remaja usia sekolah menengah yang berusia antara 1317 tahun di Desa Pangauban, Kecamatan Cisurupan, Kabupaten Garut. Proses pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui tahap perencanan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penilaian serta tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menggambarkan adanya pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang lebih baik pada remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi diantaranya dengan bersedia menunda pernikahan hingga cukup usia, menghindari pergaulan seks bebas dan menghindari perilaku seks bebas menuju remaja sehat, berkarakter, dan sejahtera. Katakata kunci: Komunikasi persuasif, kesehatan, remaja, daring, pandemi covid19
