Abstract
The May highlights from the Circulation family of journals span several topics in cardiovascular medicine. The results of a randomized trial to reduce pocket infections are presented in Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology. Heart transplant outcomes among high-and low-risk donor and recipient characteristics are analyzed in Circulation: Heart Failure. The incidence of cardiovascular complications of COVID during the pandemic are reported in Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes. Sex-related differences in plaque composition in response to statin therapy are explored in Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging. Finally, outcomes of leaflet thrombosis in low-risk patients receiving transcathether aortic valve replacement are reported in Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
