Abstract
Buku ini menguraikan proses penjaringan bakteri penambat nitrogen (Azotobacter sp. dan Azospirillum sp.) dari ekosistem lahan sawah, serta hasil penelitian rumah kaca dan lapangan yang melibatkan inokulasi pupuk hayati dan pemberian kompos jerami padi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kepadatan bakteri penambat nitrogen (N2), kandungan nutrisi tanah, dan konsentrasi nitrogen pada tanaman padi sawah. Selain itu, aplikasi pupuk hayati dan kompos jerami juga meningkatkan respirasi tanah, kandungan bahan organik tanah, dan hasil panen padi pada berbagai takaran pupuk nitrogen yang diberikan. Buku ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai penggunaan pupuk hayati dan kompos jerami dalam konteks pemulihan kesehatan tanah dan peningkatan produktivitas tanaman padi sawah. Penulis berharap buku ini dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi dan panduan bagi para petani, peneliti, dan pihak-pihak yang tertarik denggan pertanian berkelanjutan.
