Abstract
Cet article propose de montrer en quoi les évolutions de périmètres, les suppressions de réserves naturelles et les compensations qui en découlent, ou leur absorption en cœur de parc national, illustrent la construction et jalonnent le processus d’acceptation sociale de ces dernières. Dans le contexte des réserves naturelles nationales de montagne (Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Isère, Hautes-Alpes), des usages difficilement compatibles conduisent à revoir les limites, voire l’existence même des périmètres de protection et traduisent les arrangements avec ceux-ci et avec l’espace effectués par les différents décideurs. Une réflexion sur la notion de contiguïté et de porte d’entrée permet de penser leurs différentes stratégies d’articulation aux espaces équipés pour le tourisme, notamment les domaines skiables. La capacité de circulation dans les réserves avec plus ou moins de contraintes contribue en effet aussi à leur acceptation.
