Abstract
La pratique préventive de la Maison buissonnière, qui reçoit à Montréal depuis une trentaine d’années des bébés et des enfants d’âge pré-oedipien accompagnés de leurs proches, se situe toujours hors des sentiers battus, autant des pratiques psychanalytiques courantes que des pratiques socio-éducatives prévalentes au Québec. Adossé sur les enseignements de Françoise Dolto et sur les théories du développement précoce, l’accueil de familles vise que le bébé ou le petit enfant puisse « dérouler sa question » et que le parent puisse l’entendre, afin que les malentendus entre lui et sa famille ne se nouent pas ultérieurement en symptômes. L’article décrit les principes qui soutiennent le travail des « accueillants », les illustre par des exemples tirés de la pratique au quotidien et présente quelques-unes de ses bases théoriques.
