Abstract
Croisant l’intérêt des géographes pour le versant discursif de la pensée et celui, grandissant, pour les images (linguistiques, mentales ou iconographiques), je propose ici de revisiter les relations texte-images à l’oeuvre dans le Tableau de la géographie de la France à la lumière de La chambre claire . Note sur la photographie de Roland Barthes (1980) sur l’image photographique. Mon hypothèse est que l’image photographique (son modus operandi selon Barthes) permet d’éclairer un type de lecture/regard qu’instaure le Tableau de la géographie de la France . C’est bien ici l’expérience géographique d’un sujet lecteur-spectateur du Tableau que je souhaite appréhender, dans un dialogue avec les images, comme pédagogie de la relation individus-lieux et conduite de soi dans le monde.
