Economias alternativas, ultraliberalismo e pandemia: Mulheres na agroecologia no Brasil

Abstract
A orientação ultraliberal e autoritária dos governos brasileiros desde 2016 implicaram o desmonte das políticas públicas de apoio às economias alternativas e colocaram suas e seus sujeitos num cenário de crise, aprofundado com a pandemia de COVID-19. Este artigo visa contribuir, desde uma perspectiva feminista, para a reflexão sobre o significado desse momento na trajetória da agroecologia, como parte das economias alternativas no Brasil. Baseia-se numa pesquisa com organizações de agricultoras agroecológicas conduzida em 2020 em duas regiões do país, por meio de entrevistas realizadas presencial e virtualmente. Propõe um marco conceitual das economias alternativas, articulando democracia, espaços públicos, solidariedade, pluralidade econômica e gênero. Evidencia os efeitos conflitantes do protagonismo feminino na agroecologia, entre construção de mercados solidários, aumento da produção e ganho de autonomia, por um lado, e reprodução da divisão sexual do trabalho e sobrecarga de trabalho, por outro.
