Abstract
Muitas vezes o patrimônio está em nosso próprio campo de visão, mas não o enxergamos. O campus da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS), nesta pesquisa, é tomado como um desses objetos, tão presente em nosso cotidiano, mas que (ainda) não é reconhecido como patrimônio cultural. Não se trata apenas de reconhecer suas edificações, mas elementos, materiais e imateriais, que existem em diálogo, em função ou partir desse patrimônio construído, e que colaboram para discussões diversas: culturais, éticas e científicas, e que deveriam justificar sua preservação, como referendado pelos mais recentes estudos no campo do restauro. A pesquisa busca mapear um primeiro conjunto desses elementos, nomeadamente os projetos/desenhos para a construção do Campus, para que então possam ser devidamente trabalhados, colaborando com a construção e preservação da memória da UEFS e com a preservação de seu patrimônio.
