Abstract
Le mouvement de la « décolonisation de la santé mondiale » a pris de l’ampleur ces cinq dernières années. Il offre une critique intéressante du modèle de représentations dominant en Occident. En nous appuyant sur des penseurs décoloniaux d’Afrique francophone, nous analysons leur potentiel pour déconstruire les interventions de « santé mondiale ». Nous proposons d’appliquer cette grille d’analyse à la diffusion de dispositifs de planification familiale, exemple connu de ce type d’intervention qui est mis en œuvre en Afrique subsaharienne. Nous montrons que les interventions pour la planification familiale ont le plus souvent ciblé les dimensions superficielles des problèmes de santé mondiale, en contournant les structures et les modèles mentaux des populations africaines. Nous concluons notre propos en interrogeant la manière dont la décolonialité pourrait offrir un positionnement crédible pour repenser les interventions en matière de santé mondiale.
