Pewarna Alami Berbahan Dasar Buah Naga Merah Untuk MPASI Pada Balita Di Wilayah Kabupaten Barito Timur, Kalimantan Tengah

Abstract
MP-ASI merupakan makanan atau minuman selain ASI yang mengandung zat gizi yang diberikan kepada bayi selama periode penyapihan yang diberikan bersamaan pemberian ASI. Sebuah rekomendasi menekankan, secara sosial budaya MP-ASI hendaknya dibuat dari bahan pangan lokal yang murah dan mudah diperoleh di daerah setempat. Salah satu buah yang berpotensi digunakan sebagai makanan alami adalah buah naga super red (Hylocereus costaricensis). Khalayak sasaran adalah ibu-ibu balita Kabupaten Barito Timur, Kalimantan Tengah. Metodenya pelaksanaan penyuluhan interaktif dengan para ibu yang memiliki anak usia balita, diskusi dan tanya jawab, kemudian demonstrasi pembuatan MP-ASI menggunakan bahan pewarna buah naga. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan posttest dan pretest untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman mereka setelah dilakukan penyuluhan. Nilai yang didapatkan dari hasil posttest dan pretest kemudian dilakukan uji statistik menggunakan uji T berpasangan dan uji Gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis test yang dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang bermakna antara sebelum penyuluhan dengan sesudah penyuluhan dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai posttest. Nilai rata-rata posttest adalah sebesar 16,1 dan nilai rata-rata pretest adalah sebesar 32,8. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, terdapat kategori nilai gain rendah sebanyak 6 orang (28,5%), sedang sebanyak 13 orang (62%) dan tinggi sebanyak 2 orang (9,5%). Dari hasil tersebut terdapat beberapa ibu balita memiliki nilai gain yang baik yaitu sebesar 34,2% memiliki kategori sedang yang berarti ibu-ibu tersebut menunjukkan nilai pemahaman yang meningkat setelah diberikan penyuluhan.
