Abstract
Soğuk Savaş’ın bitmesinin ardından uluslararası sistemde daha özgürlükçü anlayışların meydana çıkmasıyla birlikte, Uluslararası İlişkiler disiplininde çevre sorunlarının ele alınmasında yeşil teori önemli bir yer edinmeye başlamıştır. Çevre merkezli anlayışla yeşil teori, sürdürülebilir bir dünyanın varlığı için her ülkenin çevre konusunda üzerine düşeni yapmasını beklemektedir. Bu amaçla çalışmada vaka analizi olarak ele alınan Almanya, enerjisini yeşile dönüştürebilmek, yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları temelli bir ekonomi kurabilmek amacıyla adımlar atmaktadır. Ancak, enerji dönüşümü konusundaki tüm planlarına rağmen Almanya için Ukrayna krizi çok ciddi bir kırılma noktası olmuştur. Krizle beraber Almanya, enerji güvenliği ikilemi ile karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Bu kriz yeşil teorinin de askeri ve güvenlik politikalarını ön plana çıkaran realist teori karşısında sınanmasına yol açmıştır. Nitel analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmada yeşil teorinin sınanmasına yol açan Ukrayna krizinin etkisi, Almanya örneği üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada, Ukrayna krizinin Almanya için kısa vadede realist politikalara dönüşüne rağmen orta ve uzun vadede yeşil dönüşüm için fırsat olduğuna değinilmiştir.
