Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menemukan efektivitas metode muraja`âh dalam kegiatan tahfîdz al-Qur`ân di Pondok Pesantren al-Muttaqiin Taki Niode Kota Gorontalo. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu fenomenologi dengan objek penelitian dalam suatu konteks naturalnya dan apa adanya. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu: penerapan metode muraja`âh dalam kegiatan tahfîdz al-Qur`ân di Pondok Pesantren al-Muttaqiin Taki Niode Kota Gorontalo langkah-langkahnya adalah: persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dengan cara tasmi`. Efektivitas metode muraja`âh dalam kegiatan tahfîdz al-Qur`ân di Pondok Pesantren al-Muttaqiin Taki Niode Kota Gorontalo dilihat dari dua aspek yaitu efektivitas proses dan hasil. Efektivitas proses tampak dari kemudahan belajar baik dilakukan secara individu yakni mudah konsentrasi karena tidak terpengaruh temannya dan secara kelompok santri terlihat bergantian saling mengulang, santri muraja`âh dan santri lain menyimak. Efektivitas hasil terlihat dalam satu tahun santri sudah mencapai target 10 juz hafalan al-Qur`ân setelah diterapkan metode muraja`âh dalam kegiatan tahfidz al-Qur`ân sehingga 3 tahun mencapai hafalan 30 juz. Kendati demikian masih terdapat perbedaan kemampuan hafalan al-Qur`an santri dalam kegiatan tahfidz al-Qur`an.
