Abstract
Kehamilan menyebabkan perubahan yang besar dalam tubuh seseorang perempuan, salah satu perubahan yang terjadi yaitu pada system musculoskeletal. Perubahan pada muskoluskeletal ini menyebabkan nyeri punggung. Nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil adalah sakit atau nyeri yang dirasakan ibu pada daerah punggung, yang menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan. Nyeri punggung ini bisa dikurangi dengan latihan punggung. Dampak dari perubahan kehamilan trimester III dapat menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan, salah satu diantaranya nyeri punggung bawah yang berada di daerah lumbosacral dan sakroiliakal. Hal tersebut jika tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satu penatalaksanaan terapi non farmakologi melalui gerakan-gerakan ringan abdominal stretching. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan pengaruh abdominal stretching terhadap nyeri punggung ibu hamil trimester III. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan praktik dengan sasaran seluruh ibu hamil Trimester III di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Depok II Sleman, Yogyakarta. Hasil pengabdian ini terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu setelah dilaksanakan abdominal streaching 3 kali dalam 1 minggu sebagian besar keluhan ibu hamil tidak dirasakan lagi seperti nyeri punggung.Kata Kunci : Kehamilan, Abdominal Streatching, Nyeri Punggung
