Abstract
Avec l’analyse de la mise à jour (aggiornamento) du texte des constitutions de l’Ordre des Frères Mineurs en 1971, l’étude entend aborder un changement d’identité fondamental pour l’histoire franciscaine : du concept de pauvreté, relatif à la dimension matérielle, juridique et patrimoniale à celui de minorité, concernant plutôt une attitude intérieure, une posture de marginalité spirituelle avant d’être sociale et économique. L’analyse de la métamorphose du texte des constitutions sera suivie par l’examen des quelques réunions importantes, notamment parmi les provinciaux d’Europe du Nord (à Noordwijkerhout et à Exaten), au cours desquelles il a été décidé de passer de la considération de la question pastorale à la prise en compte de la question de l’identité.
