Abstract
Cet article propose une analyse du processus ayant conduit à la refonte des constitutions de l’Institut des Petites Soeurs de la Sainte-Famille entre 1967 et 1983. À partir des archives du chapitre spécial de rénovation ainsi que des constitutions ad experimentum, nous pouvons comprendre comment la communauté a entrepris un vaste travail de réflexion autour de l’organisation de la vie religieuse de ses soeurs. Les travaux préparatoires au chapitre spécial ont permis aux soeurs de réécrire leurs constitutions afin que celles-ci soient en adéquation avec les besoins actuels de la communauté. Plus encore, l’analyse des différentes constitutions ad experimentum montre bien que celles-ci se sont progressivement imprégnées de la spiritualité de la communauté.
