Abstract
Inklusi sosial menjadi satu konsep formal yang ada dalam Islam. Konsep inilah yang terlihat dalam beberapa periode sejarah berlatar pembangunan peradaban Islam masa klasik. Paada masa Nabi SAW sampai masa Khulafa Al-Rasydun kaum mawali mendapat tempat yang adil. Mereka terpinggirkan pada masa Umayyah, akibat hegemoni Arabisme. Kaum mawali mulai berkontribusi penuh dalam peradaban Islam pada masa Abbasiyah untuk berkolaborasi membangun umat secara bersama. Karena tujuan utama dari inklusi sosial adalah kemakmuran bagi semua orang, maka konsep ini harus berpedoman pada nilai-nilai agama agar menjurus kepada kebaikan. Penelitian ini ingin menjelaskan penerapan inklusi sosial umat Islam di Jazirah Arab sebagai satu proses persatuan Muslim Arab dan Muslim non-Arab dalam peradaban Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah meliputi heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, inklusi sosial berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam yaitu ukhuwah islamiyah, tasamuh, dan ishlah dapat mempersatukan umat Islam dalam membangun kemakmuran bersama di Jazirah Arab.
