Abstract
We consider a family of regularized defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations proposed in the context of the cubic NLS equation with a bounded dispersion relation. The time evolution is well-posed if the black soliton is perturbed by a small perturbation in the Sobolev space <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> H s ( R ) H^s(\mathbb {R}) </inline-formula> with <inline-formula content-type="math/mathml"> s > 1 2 s > \frac {1}{2} </inline-formula> . We prove that the black soliton is spectrally stable (unstable) if the regularization parameter is below (above) some explicitly specified threshold. We illustrate the stable and unstable dynamics of the perturbed black solitons by using the numerical finite-difference method. The question of orbital stability of the black soliton is left open due to the mismatch of the function spaces for the energy and momentum conservation.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
