Abstract
Vëllimi me tregime “Enigma e një nate” që ka për autor Avdulla Kënaçin, shënon në letërsinë shqipe dimensione të reja integruese, duke u bërë pjesë përbërëse e letërsisë bashkëkohore. Hapësira gjeografike ku janë vendosur personazhet e tij, nuk është vetëm ajo shqiptare. Tashmë është kapërcyer hapësira ballkanike dhe ajo evropiane, duke prekur kontinentin e përtej Atlantikut dhe duke na sjellë prej andej pamje të mrekullueshme, të panjohura më parë për lexuesin shqiptar. Zgjerimi i hapësirës gjeografike i ka dhënë dimension tjetër edhe botës shpirtërore të këtyre personazheve. Ata i kanë kapërcyer vijat kufizuese që të jep një hapësirë e caktuar ku je i detyruar që t`i mbash personazhet dhe t`i zhvillosh, brenda kuadrit kulturor dhe nivelit ekonomiko-shoqëror që ka arritur vendi ku ata veprojnë. Në tregimet e Avdulla Kënaçit, vërejmë këmbënguljen e tij për t`i bërë të njohur shqiptarët përtej hapësirës së tyre, si njerëz dhe si popull që di të ndërtojë ura komunikimi me njerëz dhe popuj të tjerë, dhe kjo është ndihma më e çmuar që një shkrimtar mund t`i bëjë vendit të tij.
 Avdulla Kënaçi lindi në Gjirokastër, më 15.07.1945. Ka kryer studimet për gjuhë-letërsi dhe histori. Ka ushtruar profesionin e gazetarit dhe më pas atë të redaktorit dhe të skenaristit. Me ardhjen e demokracisë, ka punuar si gazetar në Radio Televizionin Shqiptar, (RTSH) në departamentin “Bota shqiptare” ku iu përkushtua jetës së shqiptarëve në emigracion. Vitet e fundit, deri në vitin 2007, ka drejtuar programin satelitor në RTSH. Prej dhjetë vitesh jeton në Toronto, Kanada.
