Abstract
Dans l’introduction de Stanze, Giorgio Agamben rappelle le projet de « poésie universelle » du Cercle d’Iéna qui visait « l’[abolition de] la distinction entre poésie et discipline critico-philologique ». La qualification de critique peut dès lors être seulement conférée aux œuvres qui accueillent leur propre négation, qui se donnent pour objet ce qui est toujours déjà en fuite. Le projet de cette tâche impossible s’accomplit dans une « topologie de l’irréel » qui est le propre de la forme poétique de la stanza, la strophe de la canzone médiévale toscane. En elle réside le souffle d’amour, le spiritus fantasticus à partir duquel il est possible de penser une théorie du langage poétique et du lyrisme critique comme dépassement de la fracture métaphysique de la présence.
