ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Gambaran terjadinya perceraian di Perumahan Yayasan Gubernur Kota Makassar. (2) Mendeskripsikan dampak sosial anak remaja di perumahan Yayasan Gubernur Kota MakassarJenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan penentuan subjek melalui teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunanakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data secara konkret yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini di analisis dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penyebab utama perceraian yang terjadi di perumahan Yayasan Gubernur Kota Makassar ialah perselingkuhan, KDRT, dan Perekonomian. (2) Dampak sosial yang ditimbulkan akibat perceraian orang tua adalah kondisi sosial anak yang tidak baik interaksi adalah lebih menutup diri sehingga tidak dapat berinteraksi dilingkungan kompleks perumahan dan terganggunya pendidikan pada anak hingga dikeluarkan dari sekolah karena sering membolos.
