Abstract
Cet article analyse deux oeuvres où Nelly Arcan joue un rôle central. Dans Trente (2018), Marie Darsigny place sa narratrice en héritière d’Arcan, pour qui elle professe désir et admiration. Elle partage avec la protagoniste de Folle (2004) la tentation du suicide, souhaitant rompre avec un monde dont les promesses de bonheur sonnent creux. Avec Mon ennemie Nelly (2019), Karine Rosso propose un récit hanté dans lequel la narratrice croit être coincée dans un script écrit par Arcan, tant sa vie résonne avec les oeuvres de cette dernière. Elle se débat contre les forces du déterminisme incarnées par Arcan et tente de trouver une voie de sortie pour éviter de sombrer dans le no future, sur les traces de sa prédécesseure.
