Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We propose an integral method to accelerate the electromagnetic analysis of multiscale structures, based on a multigrid version of the adaptive integral method (AIM). In the standard AIM, the largest mesh elements constrain the resolution of the FFT grid, increasing the number of expensive Green's function integrations required. To overcome this issue, we introduce the idea of scaled projection stencils that are adapted to the size of each mesh element. The proposed method is shown to be 3.6 times faster than AIM in the analysis of a metagrating, and better suited to handle multiscale meshes where mesh resolution is coarsened on large structures such as ground planes.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
