Abstract
Cet article a pour visée de mettre en lumière une des fonctions du groupe nommé pythique inspirée du rituel autour de la pythie dans la Grèce antique. Elle a émergé à partir de la pratique dans un groupe de parole ayant lieu deux fois par jour en semaine dans un service de psychiatrie pour adulte animé de la philosophie de la psychothérapie institutionnelle et se déploie bien au-delà de ce premier cadre. La fonction pythique s’inscrit dans un rythme, par une voix qui fait trace dans un emboîtement interprétatif. L’auteur développe ces différentes notions dans un registre métapsychologique à travers ses expériences en Amazonie et la lecture des auteurs de la créolité. Ce faisant, il esquisse une thérapeutique groupale pour des sujets aux prises avec des processus psychotiques.
