Design of Rotating and Striking Separator for Mulberry Stems and Leaves

Abstract
Abstract At present, mulberry leaf harvesting is still dominated by manual field picking, and the labor intensity of workers is high. In order to reduce the labor intensity of workers, a kind of stem and leaf separator suitable for mulberry sticks was designed by referring to the existing stem and leaf separators. The power control system, transmission system, and separation mechanism of the rotary blow mulberry stem and leaf separator are mainly designed. Through SolidWorks, the three-dimensional model of the rotary blow mulberry stem and leaf separator was established, and the finite element analysis of the conveying roller and the separating roller was carried out. The stress, strain, and deformation cloud diagram and the safety factor distribution diagram were obtained, and the design met the work requirements. The ANSYS software was used to conduct the modal analysis of the separation roll with separation elements installed. According to the first six order vibration mode diagrams, the minimum natural frequency and critical speed of the separation roll are 262.97 Hz and 155782 r/min, and the dynamic performance and structural design meet the working requirements.
