Abstract
Le deuil est une réalité délicate que nous avons à cœur de circonscrire, d’analyser et de préciser. Si ses affects se combinent et se chevauchent sans ordonnance précise (Sauteraud, 2018), ils expriment pourtant quelque chose du processus évolutif vécu par les personnes endeuillées. Analogues au « pathos » compris dans sa plus pure étymologie (Mathieu-Castellani, 2000), ces affects ou émotions induisent un champ heuristique unique. Notre article se propose donc d’analyser ces « états de l’âme sensible » (Mathieu-Castellani, 2000) à partir de l’émotion de la tristesse et sous deux angles complémentaires. Premièrement, en considérant son mouvement dialectique. Deuxièmement, en appréciant sa résonance téléologique. Dès lors, le cadre épistémologique de la première partie de notre article associera philosophie du vivant et philosophie première. Et parce que la deuxième partie de l’article appliquera ce cadre conceptuel à la dynamique d’accompagnement de ces personnes endeuillées, elle admettra, quant à elle, une prégnance plus éthique.
