Abstract
Bien que les études s’intéressent désormais aux communautés LGBTQ en milieu rural, rares sont celles qui se sont penchées sur leur situation dans un contexte de travail traditionnellement masculin comme celui de l’agriculture. Cet article a pour objectifs de documenter les formes d’exclusion que vivent les personnes de la diversité sexuelle oeuvrant en milieu rural agricole. Il se base sur l’analyse d’entrevues semi-dirigées réalisées avec 12 personnes de la diversité sexuelle oeuvrant en milieu rural agricole au Québec lors de deux rencontres individuelles. Les résultats indiquent que les personnes de la diversité sexuelle doivent composer avec de l’exclusion symbolique, identitaire et territoriale. L’intersection entre l’orientation sexuelle des agriculteur.rice.s, leur métier et le fait de vivre hors métropole amplifie ainsi les difficultés auxquelles iels font face malgré les stratégies individuelles et collectives mises en place.
