Abstract
Resumo:O propósito desse artigo é responder a questão o que é a filosofia, considerando a temática da estética da existência o papel do sensível no tornar-se si mesmo.Usamos como base para nossas reflexões, a perspectiva da ascese e etopoiética da de Michel Foucault.Nossa intenção é mostrar que a filosofia se faz por meio da atitude radical de interrogar.Seguindo por este caminho, a filosofia nuca será um conjunto de verdades prontas, mas verdades a serem construídas dialeticamente com base no logos da atividade conceitual e não na doxa de uma postura puramente retórica.O horizonte é de uma prática teórica que visa romper a perspectiva de uma solidão especulativa e buscar entrar em conato com o mundo para além de sua forma idealizada ou da visão do cinismo da retórica.Desse modo, o filósofo pratica a arte de viver, de pensar e falar que o conduz a mudar sua forma de estar no mundo, de conhecer e agir com os outros.Essa prática faz o filósofo colocar sua existência na coragem de buscar a verdade como a expressão de encontrar a melhor forma possível de vida para si e para os outros.
