Abstract
La confiance est à la base du modèle de gouvernance traditionnel découlant de la révolution industrielle basé sur une logique verticale. Ce modèle de gouvernance a été remis en question à plusieurs reprises à la suite des nombreux scandales financiers depuis la débâcle de la société Enron en 2001. La technologie de la chaîne de blocs offre le potentiel de faire évoluer ce modèle de gouvernance en permettant la création d’organisations autonomes décentralisées (OAD). Une OAD est une organisation fonctionnant grâce à un ensemble de contrats intelligents qui établissent et fournissent des règles de gouvernance à l’organisation. Ces règles sont transparentes et immuables, car elles sont inscrites dans un réseau chaîne de blocs. Grâce à une recherche approfondie du cas de The DAO, cette étude présente certains enjeux de gouvernance importants des OAD.
