Öz: Araştırmanın amacı; öğretmen adaylarının İlköğretim Matematik ve Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği lisans programını seçme nedenlerini ve beklentilerini ortaya çıkarmaktır.Araştırma, iki aşamada çalışılmıştır.Birinci aşaması, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılı güz dönemi başında Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi 1. sınıfına yeni başlayan 27'si kadın, 13'ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 40 ilköğretim matematik ve 18'i kadın 7'si erkek olmak üzere toplam 25 fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
