À partir d’une ethnohistoire et ethnographie du pèlerinage catholique en territoire autochtone qui a lieu chaque année depuis 1889 au lac Sainte-Anne (Alberta), cet article propose d’analyser le renouvellement contemporain d’une géographie de lieux de cultes dans l’Ouest canadien. Les pèlerinages, mis en place par les missionnaires pour développer les dévotions envers diverses saintes catho­liques dans un objectif d’assimilation des populations autochtones, se transforment depuis les années 2010. En analysant les pratiques panamérindiennes qui s’y déroulent, non uniquement à leurs marges, il s’agira d’interroger de quelles façons ces pèlerinages semblent s’inscrire dans une dynamique d’autochtonisation favori­sant, d’une part une réappropriation d’une identité et d’une spiritualité autochtone et, d’autre part, la mise œuvre progressive de la réconciliation.
