Cet article propose de faire travailler le syntagme conceptuel de forme scolaire à l’aune de la formation des enseignant∙es en tant que formation d’adultes. Sur la base de cette transposition, il s’agit d’élaborer une théorisation de l’épistémologie de la formation à l’enseignement, à travers une proposition de modélisation d’une certaine forme formative construite autour d’une certaine relation au temps, une certaine relation à l’espace, une certaine relation aux savoirs ainsi qu’une certaine relation aux autres. Contrairement au concept d’origine, appréhendé dans une perspective sociologique, le modèle proposé donne à voir les dispositifs de formation depuis le prisme des enseignant∙es en formation au travers de la prise en compte de leur expérience au sens de Dewey. Loin de la volonté d’imposer un modèle prescriptif et de bonnes pratiques, il s’agit d’abord de proposer des axes de réflexion pour les ingénieries de formation à l’enseignement.
