Abstract
Une décision judiciaire se présente depuis longtemps comme un texte écrit comprenant deux parties essentielles, soit un exposé des motifs sur lequel se fonde le tribunal pour justifier sa décision et un dispositif qui énonce les conclusions du tribunal. La présentation matérielle des décisions judiciaires fait ressortir les particularités que comporte cet écrit rattaché à la littérature du droit. La forme donnée au texte met en évidence l’autorité qui découle de cet acte juridictionnel. Loin d’être statique, la matérialité du texte des décisions a connu des formes variables au fil du temps. Depuis quelques décennies, elle s’est transformée à la faveur des efforts faits pour faciliter la lecture et la compréhension de ces décisions et permettre le passage de l’imprimé au numérique comme format usuel de diffusion du corpus jurisprudentiel.
